Big Sun Youth Soccer League (BSYSL) is pleased to announce and invite your club/teams to participate in the inaugural 2020 CFU Cup. The tournament will be played on November 13-15, 2020. The CFU Cup strives to become one of the most competitive tournaments by bringing together a great variety of teams from Region B and beyond. The tournament is for select teams of all ability levels. The CFU Cup will be a great tournament to add to your fall/winter schedule.

The CFU Cup is sanctioned by Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and is open to all US Soccer members (US Club Soccer, AYSO, USSSA).

2020 DATES
The tournament will be played on Saturday, November 14 through Sunday, November 15. It is possible that local teams will begin play on Friday, November 13.

LOCATIONS
The CFU Cup will be held in the City of Ocala – Big Sun Complex, Ocala Rotary Sportsplex & Ocala Regional Sportsplex.

LEVELS OF PLAY
GOLD: U9-U19 Single Age Group Brackets
High-level Division I teams from across Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate making this a highly competitive event at the Gold Divisions.

SILVER: U9-U19 Single Age Group Brackets
Silver Division is for Division 2 and competitive Division 2 travel teams. If the number of applications at a certain level allows, Silver 1 and Silver 2 divisions may be created to allow appropriate competition. Teams from Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate in the Silver Divisions.

BRONZE: U9-U19 Single Age Group Brackets
Bronze Division is primarily for recreational teams and new travel teams seeking comparative competition.

U9 Future Stars (U8 Teams): The U9 Future Stars division is set-up for U8 teams only. Note that the U9 Future Stars will play under the U9 rules.

U11 (U10 9v9 Division): U10 teams and players preparing for 9v9 soccer for the 2020-2021 season. Please note the U11 (U10 9v9 Division) will play under the U11 rules as noted in the Tournament Rules and the registration fee will be the standard U11 fee ($700.00).

U13 (U12 11v11 Division): U12 teams looking to play 11v11. Please note the U13 (U12 11v11 Division) will play under the U13 rules as noted in the Tournament Rules and the registration fee will be the standard U13 fee ($750.00 per team).

All applications must be approved by the tournament committee.

Registration deadline has been extend to Sunday, November 1, 2020. 

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Teams will need to register online (GotSoccer). Click here for the application.

All teams must register online. Teams may pay by credit card online. Teams/clubs wishing to pay by check should make their check payable to Central Florida United and note the registration number on the check memo line and a copy of the e-mail entry confirmation. Mail to:

    • Please complete the online application via GotSoccer.
    • Make payment either via credit card or by check. No applications will be considered or accepted without payment.
    • Teams will not be eligible for acceptance until the registration fee has been received.
    • Any team not accepted will receive a refund.
    • Any team that withdraws after the application deadline of Sunday, November 1 will not be eligible for a refund.

ENTRY FEE 
$650.00 for U9 and U10 (playing 7 v 7)
$700.00 for U11 and U12 (playing 9 v 9)
$750.00 for U13 and U14 (playing 11 v 11)
$850.00 for U15 and older (playing 11 v 11)

Registration fee INCLUDES the referee fees. Entry fees received after the deadline of Sunday, Novermber 1, 2020, will automatically incur an additional $50.00 late fee.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT 
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

U9 and U10 teams play 7-a-side and may carry up to 12 players with 4 guest players allowed
U11 and U12 teams play 9-a-side and may carry up to 16 players with 5 guest players allowed
U13 to U19 teams play 11-a-side and may carry up to 22 players on their roster with 6 guest players allowed.
