Covid-19 Guidelines and Expectations for all to do prior to arriving at Big Sun or Rotary
Parent Responsibilities
- Keep your child at home if they are not feeling well
- Drop your child off, stay in the car, or socially distance yourself from others as much as possible
- Wearing a mask is recommended, but not mandatory
- Be sure your child has their own water and sanitizer
- Please wash or sanitize clothes and equipment after each training
- Notify the club immediately if your child becomes ill; if Covid-19 is suspected please have them tested and keep the club informed of the result before returning to practice
Player Responsibilities
- Stay home if you are not feeling well
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after training
- Bring and use hand sanitizer to practice and games
- Do not share equipment, water, etc.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment before and after every training
- No group celebrations and avoid physical contact with players & coaches
Coach Responsibilities
- Stay home if you are not feeling well
- Wash your hands or sanitize before and after training
- Ensure the health and safety of all players
- Ask the players how are they feeling and send them home should they get ill
- Coach is the only person to handle cones, discs, etc.
- Allow for additional water breaks and ask the players how they are feeling
Protocol If Someone Gets Covid-19 Symptoms
- Any Player/Coach/Staff who is experiencing symptoms should separate themselves from others, notify the Club that they are ill and get tested for Covid-19 as soon as possible
- If/when the Club is notified of an illness, we will alert teams as soon as possible
- In order to reduce the risk of disease transmission, any Player/Coach/Staff with a suspected or documented COVID-19 infection cannot attend Club events until they have been symptom free for at least 3 days (minimum of 72 hours)
